Library Working Group

Responsibilities

Operation of Council's Slide Library on a "lending library" basis, including the receipt of donated slides and CD/ROMs, maintenance and provision to BOC member organisations of an up-to-date catalogue, and monitoring and maintenance of the slides' physical condition.  

Printed lists of slides are available from the Librarian, on request.  Selected slides may be borrowed for lectures or study, by BOC member organisations (and their members) only, at a nominal charge to cover postage and packing.

Donations of good quality colour slides featuring orchids and orchid-related subjects are always very welcome.
